Chris published her first cookbook in 1992, and it continues to be well received. In addition, she has been featured in national publications such as: Food & Wine, Colonial Homes, Yankee Magazine, Yankee Magazine’s Travel Guide, Living Without, New York Times, Boston Globe, etc. She was honored as a Yankee Magazine "Great New England Cook", and chosen to be a DuPont test chef. Her granola recipe was the inspiration for a cereal made by the Kellogg Company called "Inn at Ormsby Hill Blend". Guests can typically find Chris cooking up a storm in the kitchen off the Conservatory - but you may have to ask her to turn down the volume of the music! Chris is shown with Quincy - her flat-coated retriever (who is not found in the kitchen). For those guests who need their dog fix - just ask for Quincy and he will greet you with a smile that you will not believe. |
